The cradle is rubber-coated against the rim, and the listing does what no other bike product here does: it tells you, in capitals, not to fix it to plasterboard or drywall unless there is a wooden stud behind it.

Tires wider than 3.54 inches will not fit, which rules out fat bikes. Sixty-six pounds covers most non-electric bikes and falls short of many e-bikes once the battery is counted. Vertical hanging also needs the ceiling height to take a bike on its end, which not every low garage has.

It holds the bike on two metal hooks rather than straps, which is fine on an aluminum rim and less appealing on carbon or a step-through frame that gives the hooks nothing square to sit on. The 12 foot ceiling limit rules out vaulted bays, and nothing is published about the lag screws supplied.

The straps hold the frame, the front wheel and the handlebars, so the bike goes up level instead of swinging, and the rope arrives pre-rigged.

Seventy pounds is the lowest published capacity on this page, on a product whose own listing talks about e-bikes; it is roughly three times the price of the RAD two-pack for one bike; the ceiling limit is 14 feet; and straps are consumables in a hot garage.
