Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not have accounts, so there is nothing to log into and no profile to build. We collect three things: anonymous analytics, a click count on affiliate links, and whatever you type into the contact form. That is the entire list.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which are not. It records things like the page visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device type and referring site. IP addresses are anonymized by Google before storage. We do not use analytics to identify individuals and we could not if we wanted to.

One custom event is recorded: when a buy link is clicked, we log which merchant and which page it was clicked from. That is how we know which comparisons are useful. It contains nothing about you.

Google’s own handling of that data is governed by Google’s privacy policy. Browser-level tracking protection and analytics blockers work normally here; nothing on this site attempts to defeat them.

Affiliate links and cookies

Buy buttons route through a redirect on this domain and then to Amazon. When you arrive at Amazon, Amazon sets its own cookie so it can attribute a purchase to us. We never see your order, your basket, your payment details or your Amazon account — only an aggregate commission report.

The contact form

What you type into the contact form is emailed to us and nothing else. It is not stored in a database, not added to a mailing list, and not shared with anyone. We keep the email as long as we need it to deal with what you wrote and then it goes.

The form includes two anti-spam measures worth disclosing: a hidden field that real people never fill in, and a timestamp recording when the page loaded, used to reject submissions made in milliseconds by a script. It records how long you took to fill the form in, and nothing else about how you used the page.

What we do not do

• No accounts, no logins, no user profiles
• No newsletter, no email list, no marketing emails
• No selling or sharing of any data with third parties
• No advertising networks, no retargeting pixels, no social trackers
• No payment processing — nothing is ever sold on this site

Your choices

Block analytics with any tracking-protection tool or browser setting; the site works identically without it. Clear or block cookies at any time. Avoid affiliate cookies entirely by navigating to Amazon yourself instead of using a link here — we would rather you did that than felt misled.

If you have written to us and want the email deleted, ask and we will delete it.

Children

This site is aimed at adults buying garage storage and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes and contact
